Plasma Hymn
(2026)
Shades of Grey series
Plasma Hymn introduces a more agitated surface language within the constraints of the series. Approximately forty primary layers form the base structure, with additional carved fragments reapplied to the surface, increasing dimensional complexity beyond the raw count.
The composition reads as vertical current rather than horizontal strata. Black saturates portions of the field, while white surfaces emerge irregularly, interrupting compression. Color appears sparingly in reds and warm accents, not as decoration but as ignition points.
The title suggests energy rather than sound. Plasma is matter under intensity. The work retains the logic of interdependence, yet the equilibrium is less calm. Surfaces swell. Cavities deepen. The carving is more assertive.
Compared to Ringed Aperture and Axial Memory, Plasma Hymn carries higher internal charge. The structural framework remains intact, but the field vibrates.
