Shades of Grey
Shades of Grey investigates how interdependence becomes visible through contrast.
Working almost exclusively in black and white, the series isolates the conditions that make dimensionality legible. Light and dark alternate in layered strata, each dependent on the other to produce depth and shadow.
Color is removed to clarify structure. Grey emerges through bleed and overlap, not as an applied tone, but as the consequence of interaction.
Unlike works that stage opposing forces across separate fields, these compositions hold polarity within a single system. Black activates white. White reveals black.
The result is minimal in palette yet complex in architecture. The focus is structural interdependence made material.
