Fire #2
(2022)
Ashes series

Fire #2 compresses motion into a tighter, denser field. Energy feels concentrated and insistent, as if heat has narrowed itself into sustained pressure rather than expansion. The channels are shorter, sharper, more convergent. Rhythm becomes structure here.

The surface suggests a body under long exposure. Friction accumulates. Movement folds inward. Momentum has not slowed, but it has thickened. Heat registers as durability instead of drama. The work feels like a physical condition, not an event.

Within AshesFire #2 occupies a threshold. Change is no longer speculative. It has weight. The piece studies what happens when energy cannot disperse freely, when force presses against its own limit and begins to reorganize rather than accelerate. What emerges is transformation as mechanics: patient, contained, and real.
