Curves #2
(2022)
Ashes series
Curves #2 advances the language introduced in Curves #1, tightening density and increasing interaction. The carving becomes more deliberate. Individual elements respond to one another with clearer intention. Curves accumulate, overlap, and begin to hold shape, suggesting that the field itself has thickened.
Order remains provisional, but it is unmistakably present. Movement continues, guided rather than searching. The surface suggests systems taking form, shaped through negotiation instead of force. This is not the chaos of emergence; it is the construction of relation.
Within Ashes, Curves 2 sits at the midpoint of a threshold. Reinvention becomes intentional. Possibility becomes direction. The work reflects the slow labor of alignment before stability arrives, when thought and instinct begin to operate together.
