A Bespoke Commission is a clear, elegant pathway for collectors who want a work created specifically for their space, story, or vision.
How It Works
1. Inquiry
You reach out with initial thoughts about size, palette, and which works of mine you felt most connected to.
2. Consultation Call
We speak briefly about the mood you want the piece to hold, the emotional tone of the room it will live in, and any elements that feel meaningful to you.
3. Vision Board Creation
I develop a refined visual board based on your intentions, aesthetic preferences, and the qualities you want present in the work.
4. Concept Review
We meet in person or on Zoom to look at the vision board together and clarify the direction for the final piece.
5. Agreement and Deposit
Once we align on the concept, I schedule the commission and begin the formal work process.
6. Immersion Phase
This is the quiet stretch where the piece takes shape in the studio. I move through the layered carving process, allowing the material to guide the work into its final form.
7. Optional Progress Updates
If you enjoy seeing a piece come alive, I can share brief video moments from the studio while it is in progress.
8. Completion and Reveal
When the work is finished, I present it to you and we arrange delivery through the method that best suits your location and schedule.
Bespoke Commissions typically require approximately two to six months, depending on size and complexity.
